Coming to the Table (CTTT) is a national organization that envisions a just and truthful society.  Based on the 1963 Martin Luther King speech spoken from the Lincoln Monument, “I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.”  CTTT was born from this notion of slave descendants and former slave masters coming to the table of fellowship in order to heal from the racial wounds of the past that are rooted in slavery.

The CTTT approach to achieving social and racial justice is grounded in theories and practices inspired by Strategies for Trauma Awareness & Resilience (STAR)-- with a particular focus on Transforming Historical Harms that are transmitted across generations.
